License plate data is used to: verify permit validity; process scan-to-pay sessions linked to a plate; trigger gate arm opening and closing; support enforcement and citation workflows; and generate facility access and occupancy data for Operators.
Images captured by LPR cameras may include surrounding vehicle or environmental data incidental to plate capture. Parkify takes reasonable steps to limit retention of such incidental imagery.
License plate data is subject to the 120-day Retention Period described in Section 4, unless an exception applies.
Parkify does not share license plate data with commercial third parties for purposes unrelated to parking operations without your consent or as required by law.
Where LPR data collection is regulated by state or local law (including, without limitation, state statutes governing the collection, use, and retention of automated license plate reader data), Parkify's practices are designed to comply with applicable requirements, including data minimization, access controls, and retention limits.
